Avery joined Kiddy having been the International HR Director for Rolls-Royce plc where he was responsible for all management development, talent management and resourcing. Avery has extensive global experience in talent management and organisation development working at both board level and broader levels of a business. Prior to Rolls-Royce, he was HR Director of Cable & Wireless’ Global Division and CEO of their US business.
He worked previously as the Group HR Director for Phillips Electronics where he was responsible for the development of the senior three hundred managers across the entire Phillips organisation. He had been recruited to Phillips from Westpac banking corporation in Sydney where he was the Group HRD. Before that he was the first head of European Management Development for Mars.
Avery brings an exceptionally commercial focus to his work with international teams and in OD and talent management. Avery has lived and performed global roles based in the UK, US, Australia and the Netherlands.
